Almanac Ash
Printed household inventory catalog and archival folders

Three Services

From a single session to a year-long programme — the same careful method throughout.

Each Almanac Ash service is designed to produce a printed record the household keeps. The scope differs; the approach and the quality of output do not.

Our Methodology

How Almanac Ash approaches every engagement

Every service we offer follows the same underlying method: a preliminary conversation to understand the household's situation, an in-home session led by a senior specialist, and a printed output handed over at the end. The household owns everything that results.

We do not upload records to shared platforms, store household data on external services, or take any action using what we learn. The catalog we build is for the household's benefit alone — written in plain language, organized for practical use, and held by the household in printed form.

Preliminary Conversation

Understanding what the household holds and what it wants to record

In-Home Session

A senior specialist works in the household at a pace it sets

Recording

Descriptions, dates, and photographs for each item or document

Printed Output

Specialist recording household objects during an inventory session

Service 01

Household Inventory Session

RM 580 — Single Session

A single in-home session in which our team works with the household to build a basic written inventory of significant objects — furniture, art, jewellery, books, and any other items the household considers worth recording. Each item is given a short description, a date, and a photograph for the household's records. The work is organizational; no item is valued, appraised, or filed with any institution.

What the service includes

  • One in-home session with a senior specialist (typically 3–5 hours)
  • Written entry for each recorded item (description, date, condition notes)
  • Individual photograph of each item
  • Printed inventory booklet handed to the household
  • Archival labels for each inventoried item
  • Written follow-up note sent one month after the session

Best for

Households that want a clear written record of what they hold but are not ready for a multi-session commitment. Also suitable as a starting point before moving to a Document Cataloging Project or Annual Refresh.

Service 02

Document Cataloging Project

RM 1,360 — Three Sessions

A three-session project in which our team works alongside the household to build a clear catalog of the documents the household holds — identity papers, employment records, property documents, household account statements, and similar. The catalog is the household's own and is kept in an archival folder. The work is purely cataloging; no document is drafted, signed, or filed on the household's behalf. Suitable for households of any composition.

What the project includes

  • Three in-home sessions (typically 2–3 hours each)
  • Catalog entry for each document type identified
  • Interim notes between sessions for the household to review
  • Archival folder with labeled dividers
  • Printed catalog book handed to the household after the third session
  • All archival materials included

Best for

Households that hold a significant volume of documents and want a clear, organized reference for those documents — particularly useful for households managing property, household accounts, or multigenerational records.

Service 03

Annual Inventory Refresh

RM 2,540 — Year-Long Programme

A year-long programme that combines a quarterly visit with the household to update the inventory and catalog built in earlier sessions, a printed annual booklet of additions, and a written summary of any items distributed during the year. The programme is organizational and is the household's own; the team supports the labor but takes no action on behalf of the household with any external party. Suitable for one household per subscription.

What the programme includes

  • Four quarterly in-home visits across the subscription year
  • Updates to the existing inventory with new items or changes
  • Printed annual booklet of additions (delivered in Q4)
  • Written summary of items distributed during the year
  • All archival materials for updates included
  • Flexible quarterly scheduling with 2–3 week adjustment window

Best for

Households that have already completed an Inventory Session or Document Cataloging Project and want to keep those records current across the year. Particularly suitable for households with active movement of objects or documents.

Professional Standards

Standards applied across all services

Household Confidentiality

What we learn about a household's possessions and documents remains within the working relationship. We do not discuss, share, or reference one household's records in connection with any other party.

Archival-Grade Materials

All labels, folders, and printed output use acid-free, archival-grade materials. Standard office supplies are not used for any client output.

Plain-Language Records

Every entry is written in plain, readable language. No specialist knowledge is required to understand or use the records we produce.

Strictly Organizational

We catalog only. We do not appraise, value, advise, draft documents, or act on behalf of the household in any capacity with any external institution.

Consistent Photographic Method

All photographs are taken to a consistent standard of framing and light, printed at a uniform size in the booklet, and not uploaded to any external platform.

Structured Follow-Up

Inventory sessions include a written follow-up note one month after the session date. Annual refresh subscribers receive a written summary at the close of each programme year.

Pricing
